AVA Law Group is looking for a dynamic Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience who will be responsible for performing paralegal and administrative duties in support of our civil litigation attorneys. AVA Law Group offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organize and maintain client physical and electronic filing systems.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents with direction
- Draft procedural notices, motions, affidavits, etc.
- File legal documents with the court
- Conduct research of relevant statutes, regulations, case law, etc.
- Schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions
- Some additional administrative/reception work
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or equivalent level of experience and legal hours required for national certification.
